Graduations
Every month, a new class of students enters our doors and our hearts. Students may be training with their first or eighth Guiding Eyes dogs, but all of them grow and learn from their time at Guiding Eyes, and the results of their experience are always life-changing. These remarkable blind and visually impaired people are celebrated each month at graduation ceremonies. We invite old friends and new friends to join us on these occasions.

 Pete and Island

Meet a Guiding Eyes Graduate
In his early twenties, Pete Trejo led a fairly normal life. He worked as a welder, and in his free time enjoyed being outdoors and playing sports. But when Pete was in his mid-twenties, everything changed: a quad accident and progressive diabetes left him totally blind.
Pete’s courage and determination left him discouraged but not defeated, and now with Guiding Eyes dog Island at his side, he’s discovered seemingly endless new possibilities. Read about Pete’s inspiring journey back to independence at http://www.guidingeyes.org/PeteTrejo.
Your donation, no matter what size, lets us serve people like Pete. You can make a tax-deductible contribution at www.guidingeyes.org/donate. Thank you. | |
